As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for all visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri06:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat06:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun06:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and support a positive environment for customers and staff. Maintain detailed and timely documentation of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
