Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat04:30 PM - 11:00 PMSun04:30 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual activity, to the appropriate personnel. Assist customers, visitors, and employees by providing information and directions as needed. Work collaboratively with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues within the retail environment. Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
