As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual occurrences within the location. Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific procedures. Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies and/or evacuations as directed. Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents. Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or law enforcement as needed. Must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
