As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a busy retail location. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri03:30 PM - 11:30 PMSat03:30 PM - 11:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and customers. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity within the retail environment. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying identification as required by site policies. Work collaboratively with store management and Allied Universal leadership to address security-related concerns and promote a positive experience for all individuals at the location. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
