Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue07:00 AM - 03:30 PMWed07:00 AM - 03:30 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:30 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:30 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or concerns. Support loss prevention efforts by remaining alert to potential theft or policy violations within the retail location. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Experience in loss prevention is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
