As a Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrol in Foothill Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a retail and mall setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be expected to monitor access points, respond to incidents as they arise, and communicate clearly with both visitors and staff. This position may require driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Monday to Friday: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for staff and visitors. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any irregularities. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behavior within the retail environment. Document incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal policies. Collaborate with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and support loss prevention efforts. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
