As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout your assigned area. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.23 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM What Youll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols in and around the retail or mall location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as needed. Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters. What Were Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Experience in customer service is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid guard card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
