As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in access control at a major distribution center within the retail and mall sector. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols throughout the location, and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.63 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur12:00 PM - 08:00 PMFri12:00 PM - 08:00 PMSat04:00 AM - 12:00 PMSun05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during shifts. Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs specific to a retail distribution environment.
