Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue12:00 PM - 11:30 PMWed12:00 PM - 11:30 PMThur12:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment. Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to observe for unusual or suspicious behavior, reporting findings according to site protocols. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to employees, customers, and visitors as needed. Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as directed during critical situations. Adhere to all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements, including those specific to armed patrol duties. At least one year of security-related experience is required. A current armed guard card or license is required. Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
