As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a retail location. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur02:30 PM - 11:30 PMSat02:30 PM - 11:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior. Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents at the location. Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and information to customers, employees, and visitors as needed. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required. At least six months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Level III armed certification is required for positions located in Texas. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
