As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver in Colorado Springs, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible at a prominent retail location. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 09:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 09:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 09:00 AM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures. Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with incident response as directed. Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
