The position is responsible for daily operations, process improvement and staff development. The position will be based in our Belleville, Wisconsin Fulfillment Center.What You’ll Do:Prioritize and direct daily work assignments of department staff. Create and maintain weekly employee schedulesReview daily hours to ensure accurate costs for the DepartmentUpdate schedule on a daily basis for accurate tracking of employeesIs proactive in maintaining communication with the rest of the departments in the F.C. to ensure proper staffing to support order volumeSpend a majority of the shift monitoring the floor and helping with workflow, answering questions, and ensuring high morale in the departmentEnsure effective hiring and training of employeesEnsure department staff follows company policies:SafetyHousekeepingAttendance and break schedulesSpecial assignments as requested by FC Supervisor, F.C. Manager.All policies as outlined in employee handbookMeet quarterly goals created by FC ManagerOccasionally use equiment(lifts, pickers, etc) as needed to maintain service levelsWrite and deliver yearly performance reviews for direct hourly reportsAssure that all actions taken with regard to direct reports are in accordance with established company policiesWhatWe’re Looking For:High school diplomaEquivalent work experience would be considered1+ year of experience as a lead/supervisor of a mid-size to large size distribution/fulfillment center. Direct-to-consumerfulfillment experience a plusStrong oral, written, and interpersonal communicationSense of urgency in accomplishing objectives Exceptional leadership ability Adept problem-solver and analytical thinker Proven coaching and mentoring skills Spreadsheet and word processing proficiencyAuthorization to work in the United States without sponsorshipPhysical EnvironmentStanding or walking for up to twelve hours a dayFrequently lifting up to thirty pounds, occasionally lifting up to seventy poundsFrequently reaching, twisting, and bending in multiple directionsAbility to perform work in tight quarter workstations.
