Position Overview: A successful Retail Team Member will strive to deliver an exceptional customer experience by embodying the 'Go for WOW!' customer service standard at Duluth Trading Company. This means treating customers with care and actively looking for opportunities to exceed their expectations. What You'll Do: Become well-acquainted with the Duluth brand and products to provide friendly, solution-oriented service. Layer personalized service into every customer interaction, from greeting to fitting room assistance to checkout. Communicate effectively about ongoing sales and promotions. Execute email capture as part of the sales process and service standards. Proactively resolve customer concerns and provide positive solutions. Answer phone calls courteously and provide store information and customer order assistance. Help receive, process, and replenish merchandise as needed. Maintain and elevate merchandising and display standards to create an inviting sales floor. Ensure cleanliness and organization in the sales area, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap, and hospitality area. Accurately process register transactions in a timely manner. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices. Perform other duties as assigned by management. What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail experience is preferred but not required. A strong customer-focused approach. Demonstrates pride and ownership in the work environment. Operates with integrity and honesty. Excellent verbal and listening communication skills. A collaborative team player. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Environmental Factors: Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day. Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting motions. Repetitive hand-to-finger motions and arm reaching required. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally. Capability to climb ladders and perform various bending tasks. Working environment may include temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, particularly in stockroom areas. Use of a computer up to 60% of the time during shifts.
