About the Role In this exciting position, you will provide exceptional customer service at the point of sale and throughout the store, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Your role will focus on efficient operations while maintaining a high standard of service. What You'll Do Welcome customers with a friendly greeting and assist them in selecting products and services. Operate the cash register, accurately scan items, bag merchandise, and handle various payment methods efficiently. Deliver excellent service in line with company standards, ensuring a courteous and prompt transaction process. Consistently meet or exceed individual performance goals, such as credit sign-ups and loyalty program enrollments. Help maintain inventory accuracy by following point of sale procedures and merchandise handling protocols. Assist in training new team members, sharing best practices and effective service techniques that align with Kohl's brand values. Participate in daily operational tasks including cash balancing, processing change orders, and restocking supplies. Required Skills Strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. No prior retail experience is necessary, however, a willingness to learn is essential. Must be at least 16 years old and have flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Skills Experience in client-facing retail or service roles is beneficial.
