Position Overview: A dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Team Member at Duluth Trading Company will embody our Go for WOW! customer service standard. This means treating our customers exceptionally well and actively seeking ways to create memorable shopping experiences. What You'll Do: Become deeply familiar with the Duluth brand and our diverse product offerings to provide friendly, solution-oriented service to our customers. Deliver personalized service during each interaction, from greeting customers to assisting them in fitting rooms and processing transactions. Clearly communicate current sales and promotions to enhance customer experiences. Understand the importance of capturing customer emails as part of our sales and service strategy. Take initiative to resolve customer concerns proactively and positively. Answer phone calls in a friendly manner, providing information such as greetings, store directions, and assistance with customer orders. Assist in receiving, processing, and replenishing merchandise to keep sales areas well-stocked. Maintain visual merchandising and display standards, ensuring the sales floor is always ready for customers. Uphold cleanliness standards across the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, and hospitality areas. Accurately process register transactions efficiently. Follow all company policies, procedures, and practices diligently. Perform additional duties as needed under management direction. What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior retail experience is a plus but not required. A strong customer-centric attitude. Pride in a job well done with a sense of ownership over store operations. Integrity and trustworthiness in all interactions. Excellent communication and listening skills. Team player ready to collaborate with others. Ability to adapt and perform additional tasks as directed. Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. Environmental Factors: Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours each day. Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting required. Repetitive hand and finger motions as well as reaching with hands and arms are necessary. Ability to lift up to twenty pounds regularly and up to forty pounds on occasion. Push/pull up to 20 lbs. Climbing ladders and bending are required for some tasks. Work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, particularly in stockroom areas. Utilization of a computer for up to 60% of the day.
