Position Overview: A passionate and customer-oriented Seasonal Retail Team Member at Duluth Trading Company will embody our Go for WOW! service philosophy. Your role will focus on creating memorable shopping experiences and ensuring that every customer feels valued. What You’ll Do: Master the Duluth brand and product knowledge to deliver friendly, solution-oriented service, placing the customer at the forefront of your actions. Provide personalized service throughout each customer interaction, from greetings to the fitting room and at the register. Communicate current sales and promotions effectively. Utilize email capture as part of our customer engagement strategy. Take initiative to address customer concerns and provide positive resolutions. Answer phone calls courteously, offering store information, directions, and assistance with customer orders. Assist in receiving, processing, and restocking merchandise. Maintain presentation and display standards to keep the sales floor inviting. Uphold cleanliness and organization standards across the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap, and hospitality area. Process register transactions accurately and efficiently. Follow all company policies, procedures, and practices. Perform additional tasks as directed by management. What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience preferred, but not required. Customer-focused attitude. Strong sense of pride in work and a commitment to store ownership. Integrity and trustworthiness are essential. Excellent communication and listening skills. Team player with strong collaboration skills. Willingness to take on various tasks as needed. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Environmental Factors: Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day. Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 20 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 40 pounds). Use of ladders and overhead reaching abilities. Working conditions include temperatures ranging from 50 - 85 degrees, especially in stockroom areas. Computer usage up to 60% of the time throughout the day.
