Position Overview: A successful Retail Store Associate will aim for greatness in customer service. What You'll Do: Develop a deep understanding of the Duluth brand and product offerings to provide friendly, solution-oriented service to our customers. Deliver personalized experiences at every touchpoint, from greeting customers to assisting in the fitting room and at the register. Communicate effectively about current sales and promotions. Value email capture as part of enhancing our sales and service efforts. Proactively respond to customer concerns and work to provide positive resolutions. Answer phone calls with professionalism, offering store greetings, directions, and assistance with customer orders. Assist with receiving, processing, and restocking merchandise. Maintain visual merchandising, presentation, and display standards to ensure our sales floor is ready for customers. Ensure cleanliness across the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, and hospitality areas. Process all register transactions accurately and efficiently. Follow all company policies, procedures, and practices. Perform other tasks as directed by management. What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail experience is a plus but not mandatory. A customer-focused mindset. Pride in delivering quality work and taking ownership in the store. Integrity and trustworthiness. Strong communication and listening skills. A collaborative team player. Willingness to perform additional duties as needed. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Environmental Factors: Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours daily. Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting required. Repetitive hand motions and reaching needed regularly. Lifting up to twenty pounds regularly, and occasionally up to forty pounds. Ability to climb ladders and bend as necessary. Work in temperatures between 50 – 85 degrees, particularly in stockroom areas. Use of a computer up to 60% of the time during your shift.
