As a Seasonal Retail Stockroom Associate, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our store operates smoothly, allowing us to fulfill our commitment to every customer. Position Details: This position requires availability during the hours of 6:00 am - 12:00 pm. What You'll Do: Freight and Inventory Management: Help unload, sort, and process freight shipments efficiently. Your attention to detail will guarantee that merchandise flows seamlessly from the truck to the stockroom and onto the sales floor. Customer Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders, including online purchases for in-store pickup and items shipping directly from our store, ensuring a speedy and accurate service. Stockroom Operations: Maintain a neat and organized stockroom. Keep the sales floor replenished and ensure fellow team members can easily locate products. Support the Sales Team: Work closely with sales associates to maintain product availability and share information about new arrivals and stock levels, enabling them to offer excellent customer service. Uphold Standards: Follow company policies for safety, merchandising, and cleanliness to ensure operational standards are consistently met. Assist as Needed: Perform additional tasks as directed by management to contribute to the store's overall success. What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience is preferred but not strictly necessary. A strong customer-centric focus. Pride in accomplishing tasks and ownership of store processes. Integrity and trustworthiness. Effective communication and listening skills. Ability to collaborate and function effectively within a team. Willingness to perform other assigned duties. Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship. Environmental Factors: Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day. Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting, both below the waist and above shoulder height. Commonly required to perform repetitive hand and finger motions and reach with hands and arms. Regularly lifting up to twenty pounds and occasionally up to forty pounds. Ability to push/pull up to twenty pounds. Capability to climb ladders and perform reaching and bending tasks. Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 50 - 85 degrees, especially in stockroom areas. Use of a computer approximately 60% of the time during shifts.
