Position Overview: A successful Retail Sales Associate will strive to deliver exceptional customer service, embodying the 'Go for WOW!' standard at Duluth Trading Company. What You'll Do: Gain in-depth knowledge of Duluth products and brand values to offer friendly, solution-oriented service. Provide personalized service at every stage of the customer interaction, from greeting to fitting room to checkout. Deliver information regarding sales and promotions clearly and effectively. Actively engage in capturing customer email addresses as part of our service and sales processes. Proactively address customer concerns and empower yourself to find positive resolutions. Answer calls courteously, providing store greetings, directions, and assisting with customer orders. Assist in receiving, processing, and restocking merchandise efficiently. Maintain standards for merchandising, display, and cleanliness throughout the store. Ensure the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, and cash wrap meet company cleanliness standards. Accurately process all sales transactions at the register. Follow all company policies, procedures, and practices diligently. Complete any additional duties assigned by management. What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail experience is a plus but not required. Strong customer focus and commitment to service excellence. Pride in your work and ownership of store responsibilities. Integrity and a trustworthy demeanor. Outstanding communication and listening skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Willingness to perform various tasks as directed. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Environmental Factors: Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day. Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting - both below waist and above shoulders. Frequent use of repetitive hand-to-finger motions and reaching with arms. Frequently lifting up to twenty pounds and occasionally lifting up to forty pounds. Ability to climb ladders and perform reaching and bending tasks. Work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, especially in stockroom areas. Utilize a computer up to 60% of the time during shifts.
