As a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate, you will support our store team during peak sales periods, delivering outstanding customer service in a sales-driven culture that embraces GameStop's buy, sell, trade, and reservation model known as the Circle of Life. Your primary focus will be on enriching customer interactions, maintaining store operations, and supporting the sales team during the holiday rush. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, assisting with their gaming needs, recommending appropriate products, and thanking every customer for their visit to GameStop. Create an inviting shopping experience, contributing actively to all sales initiatives during the busy holiday season. Collaborate with the store team to ensure cleanliness, organization, and effective merchandising throughout the store. Assist in stocking merchandise, ensuring products are well-presented and easily accessible for customers. Help the store team achieve and exceed sales goals, focusing on both sales and loss prevention. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, escalating issues when necessary to a store keyholder. Support inventory control by remaining vigilant to theft prevention practices and following safety protocols. Adhere consistently to GameStop's policies including those related to attendance, confidentiality, and ethical responsibilities. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail sales or customer service experience is preferred. Key Skills and Abilities: Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to follow instructions in various formats (written, oral, or diagrammed). Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills; bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet performance expectations. Capable of working independently and as part of a team. Physically able to stand and move throughout the store as well as lift merchandise up to 30 lbs. Demonstrated reliability and trustworthiness. This role requires an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual ready to make a difference during a critical sales season.
