A K-12 school in New Haven, CT, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a full academic year contract position. This role offers an opportunity to provide critical psychological services that support student learning and well-being within a dynamic school environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and intervention services to students to promote social-emotional development and address behavioral challenges. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly. Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Desired Qualifications: Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working with K-12 students across diverse populations. Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational regulations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.
