A part-time physical therapist position is available to provide specialized PT services within a school setting. This role supports students from kindergarten through eighth grade and requires onsite work at various campuses in Lawrence, MA. The contract runs from August 11, 2025, through June 17, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services aligned with individual student education plans.
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to support students physical development and integration.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress.
- Travel between multiple school campuses within Lawrence, MA, to provide comprehensive PT coverage.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid Physical Therapy license issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Must complete fingerprinting and CORI background checks successfully.
- Experience working in school environments preferred.
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule, providing services between 8 AM and 3 PM.
- Reliable transportation to travel between schools; mileage reimbursement provided.
Work Schedule:
- Part-time hours, totaling approximately 10 hours per week.
- Flexibility regarding which days of the week services are provided, within school hours.
- Onsite position requiring travel to multiple educational sites.
