Provide specialized occupational therapy services in a dynamic K-12 educational setting dedicated to supporting students aged 18 months to 22 years with diverse needs. This full-time, contract position offers a flexible schedule within school hours and the opportunity to collaborate with a skilled team including a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and a part-time OT. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy interventions aligned with individualized education programs (IEPs) for all assigned students. Collaborate closely with educational staff and therapy team members to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Utilize and further develop American Sign Language (ASL) skills to effectively communicate with bimodal Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and the educational community. Participate in ongoing ASL training and competency assessments provided by the school. Maintain thorough documentation of therapy services and progress in accordance with regulatory and school standards. Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy. Strong commitment to supporting students with hearing differences, including a willingness to engage in ASL education. Ability to work a flexible schedule within 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Experience working with a broad age range, from toddlers to young adults, preferred. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
