DescriptionJob Responsibilities:Walk through the store with the purpose of actively engaging customers and offering assistance.Be present and easily visible and accessible to visitors who may have questions or need assistance.Assist with questions regarding Lehman's, Lehman's products, Amish CountryProvide directions to areas of the store such as a specific department, restrooms, checkouts, the Café, special activities, etc.Cross-train in all departments of the store to be able to assist visitors efficiently and effectively.Will be assigned a primary area of responsibility, but may be needed to "cover" other areas of the store when staff shortages occur, or "over-flow" as other Sales Team Members may be actively involved with assisting customers in their area.Provide coverage for all departments as well as the Customer Service desk when needed.Provide excellent customer service and work to ensure all visitors have a pleasant shopping experience.Assist with replenishment stocking on the sales floor.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsEducation: Minimum of an 8th Grade education preferredExperience: Minimum experience of 3-6 months in a customer service, retail and/or customer-centered environment is preferred; familiarity with Lehman's line of merchandise is a plus, but not required to applySkills and Abilities:Customer service oriented - Ability to take care of customers' needs while following company procedures. Communication skills - Strong oral and written communication skills required. Computer skills - Working knowledge of computers preferred. Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate effectively using the English language. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
