JOB SUMMARY The Sales Team Leader will support store management with day-to-day operations, developing associates, and achieving both store and personal sales goals. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Achieve and surpass store and personal sales targets. Assist in training and developing a high-performing sales team. Provide constructive feedback and hold team members accountable to company policies. Execute all opening and closing procedures as per company guidelines. Oversee daily store operations in the absence of store management. Manage Loss Prevention practices when store management is unavailable. Effectively communicate all store needs to management. Handle bank deposits. Complete assigned tasks and responsibilities promptly. Participate in all required training programs. Deliver a fun and engaging experience to all customers. Resolve customer inquiries and issues effectively. Embrace and demonstrate Journeys’ culture. JOB REQUIREMENTS Prior retail sales experience is preferred. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Motivated to succeed in a dynamic retail setting. Willingness to learn and grow. Completion of all training programs preceding the Sales Team Leader position. Able to work nights and weekends. Capability to climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for extended periods. Must be at least 18 years of age.
