We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Outside Sales Account Manager to manage client relationships and drive sales in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area. This role will focus on understanding client needs, providing accurate project measurements and estimates, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction for flooring installations.
Utilizing our sales portal, you will communicate with clients, set appointments, and use specialized estimating software to measure projects and price products and services. The Account Manager will regularly drive to various project sites throughout the Raleigh area to assess needs, take precise measurements, and provide accurate estimates based on preset pricing and products.
$45,000 to $55,000 salary based on experience.
Position Summary:
The Outside Sales Account Manager is responsible for accurately measuring projects, estimating the pricing and products required for flooring installations, and maintaining effective communication with clients and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Functions:
Cultivate and maintain positive, long-term customer relationships.
Provide precise measurements and detailed specifications for flooring installations.
Efficiently utilize technology and company software for reporting, submitting orders, and managing client communications.
Proactively follow up with clients to ensure complete satisfaction upon project completion.
Assess the current condition of project sites to identify and address potential issues before and during flooring installations.
Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, internal support staff, and subcontractors.
Perform other duties as assigned to support sales and operational objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated knowledge of flooring or construction processes and materials.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
A self-starter with a strong customer-centric approach and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently and effectively problem-solve.
Comfortable working with and eager to learn new technology systems and software.
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience using Measure Square or RFMS Measure software.
Prior experience specifically in flooring sales or installation.
