POSITION SUMMARY:
The Retail Warehouse Assistant Manager will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. The successful candidate will manage people, processes, and systems to ensure productivity targets are met and that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency. This is a salaried, exempt role with a starting annual pay of $45,000.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records via RunIt software. Including transfers between the warehouse and retail outlets, storing of product in warehouse, and proper receiving processes.
· Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring a high level of performance and adherence to safety standards.
· Logistics Coordination: Coordinate and monitor the receipt, processing, storing, and delivery of goods.
· Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure the integrity of products.
· Safety Compliance: Ensure the warehouse complies with health and safety legislation and guidelines.
· Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in warehouse operations and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
· Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, production, and inventory levels.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree
· Certificate(s) or License(s): N/A
· Years of experience: Warehouse/logistics experience required. Retail specific experience preferred.
