Job Title Enhance the customer shopping experience in a team environment. You'll operate registers or stock shelves, keep stores looking their best, and serve customers. Position Details Part-time position with fewer than 30 hours per week. Starting wage: $18.50 per hour. Wage increases: year 2 - $19.00, year 3 - $19.50, year 4 - $19.50, year 5 - $20.50. Responsibilities Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leader. Uphold security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility. Other duties as assigned. Cashier Responsibilities Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly. Provide exceptional customer service, assist customers with shopping experience. Provide feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues. Participate in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitor inventory for accuracy. Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses. Stocker Responsibilities Stock shelves and rotate product properly to guarantee fresh product is available for customers. Follow merchandising planograms to create excellently merchandised displays. Organize new inventory, remove and break down empty boxes. Operate machinery and follow all safety procedures. Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service. Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards. Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Effective time management. Knowledge of products and services.
