Job Mission: As part of the retail leadership team, the part-time Retail Team Lead assists with opening/closing the store, driving results, and delivering a world-class guest experience. You will lead by example through New Balances Core Competencies. Major Accountabilities: Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor, communicating and coaching professionally with all associates Achieve store KPIs through training and development of associates Deliver excellent guest service using our GUEST service model Open and close the store Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures Requirements for Success: Must be 18 years or older Preferred: 2 years retail supervisory experience High school diploma or equivalent Demonstrated leadership ability Strong customer service and communication skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Physical ability to lift up to 8 lbs. frequently, move boxes up to 50 lbs. with assistance, kneel, squat, stand for extended periods, and climb stairs/ladders as needed Compensation and Benefits: California pay range: $18.94 - $28.41 hourly, based on experience and location.
