Position Overview
As a part time Retail Support Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert for ensuring share accounts and transactions are completed accurately. You'll troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and follow up on tasks that keep our credit union running efficiently. Your role supports both peers and members, and you'll be recognized as a subject matter expert thanks to your completion of elevated training requirements.

Retail Support Specialist
What You'll Do:
Provide professional, positive support to peers and members across phone, in-person, and digital channels. Act as a resource for specialized account activities including membership applications, special account types, and outgoing wires. Conduct routine reviews of account activities performed by frontline staff with a strong focus on accuracy and detail. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies, procedures, laws, and compliance requirements. Lead and support process improvement initiatives. Contribute to a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative team environment. Required Skills Strong knowledge of branch operations and credit union products, services, and regulations. Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information. Flexibility with scheduling, including occasional hours outside of the standard workday. Proficiency with computers and office software. Working Conditions Office-based role with frequent interruptions and member interactions. Requires sitting, typing, speaking, hearing, and visual acuity. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally. Tools & Equipment Personal computer, printer, calculator, multi-line phone system, copier, fax machine, and headset. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 3-5 years of member/customer service experience required. 1+ years of administrative experience preferred.
