The Sales Associate at United Pacific works at an assigned store location and assists in the operation of the facility in a safe, customer-focused, and profitable manner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: daily cash handling, lighting and fixtures cleaning and maintenance, and ensuring the security of all inventory and currency to prevent theft and inventory shrinkage. You will report to the Store Manager and receive direct supervision within a framework of well-defined United Pacific company policies and procedures. You should be able to learn to operate a cash register, computer console, and other related equipment and tools. Qualifications include: Must be at least 18 years old. A High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required. Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods. Proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired. Willingness to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays. Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours. Physical ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 20 lbs. Occasional ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes during work (e.g., stocking or inventory maintenance) with appropriate safety equipment. Ability to climb ladders to store and retrieve materials or to place or remove signage. Work is primarily indoors, but extended periods outdoors may be required. Capable of working in small spaces when necessary.
