POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly experienced Retail Store Supervisor to lead a skilled team of sales specialists and support the Store Director. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of retail operations, a passion for customer service, and experience in driving sales, CRM KPIs, and managing inventory/back-of-house functions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a senior sales team, promoting autonomy and high performance. - Provide guidance and training to ensure team success in senior roles. - Support managing team schedules and ensure smooth daily operations.
Sales & Customer Experience
- Ensure a personalized shopping experience, especially for high-net-worth customers. - Support the team at the point of sale, including transactions, gift wrapping, and consignments. - Monitor CRM KPIs to drive customer retention and engagement. - Support sales analysis and reporting to achieve store targets.
Operations & Inventory Management
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring stock levels and merchandising meet brand standards. - Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and back-of-house efficiency. - Support inventory accuracy, stocktakes, and flow between sales floor and BOH. - Foster open communication and partnership with BOH Supervisor on all inventory related tasks. - Participate in all inventories and support cycle count activities.
Team Communication & Performance
- Conduct regular team meetings to align on store goals and performance. - Work closely with the Store Director to align on strategies, goals, and team well-being.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven experience in senior retail leadership, with a strong track record of driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and leading people management to achieve business goals and support team development • Expertise in POS systems and inventory management software, ensuring seamless operational processes and accurate reporting. • Extensive experience managing back-of-house operations and maintaining effective inventory control to optimize product availability and reduce loss. • Deep knowledge of CRM systems, successfully managing customer engagement to improve customer retention and overall satisfaction. • Strong experience leading teams, cultivating a positive work environment that motivates employees, enhances performance, and supports professional development. • Flexible availability, including the ability to work on weekends and holidays, ensuring team support during peak retail periods. • Ability to approach challenges with a solution-oriented and strategic mindset, focusing on long-term growth while addressing immediate issues effectively.
