Overview Retail Store Manager - 2150 at FirstCash in Dallas, TX. Compensation includes an hourly rate of $14.70 to $25.00 per hour plus a bonus based on store performance. Position Summary We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail or sales is a plus). The Store Manager will be accountable for day-to-day store operations, lead, coach and develop store staff, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals and manage customer relations and satisfaction. The Store Manager will analyze the store's financial statements and adjust as necessary; promote a customer-centric environment; ensure asset protection; and promote growth using internal and external marketing tools. All employees work with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry and general merchandise, and in some locations firearms (FFL). Responsibilities Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and addressing issues promptly. Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards. Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels. Open and close the store, including cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure procedures protect assets. Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans. Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store systems, and enterprise-level reporting. Evaluate the store's financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting. Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of all loans issued. Complete the assigned tasks and training for self-development as requested. Communicate clearly with employees to ensure understanding of the store's mission and profitability objectives. Remain up-to-date on product knowledge. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, etc.). Demonstrated ability to supervise others. Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified. Must be able to assist customers on exterior of the building or in exterior storage areas as needed. Minimum Age: 18; High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Ability to work across multiple locations and maintain a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Store Managers will typically work 45+ hours per week. Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and standard office equipment. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills. Cash handling experience; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong work ethic and business sense. Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay: $14.70 to $25.00 per hour; optional monthly bonus based on store performance.
