POSITION SUMMARY: PSE GROUP is looking for a Retail Store Leader. As a key player in our team, you will engage with customers in the PBE (paint, body & equipment) and Industrial Coatings market while effectively leading all operational aspects of your retail store. This role not only involves managing employees and customers but also encompasses inventory and facility oversight. You will work closely with the Regional Manager and Operations Team. Our brands include Painters Supply & Equipment Co, Nyquist Paints, and various others across the country. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Store Management: Manage daily cash flow and ensure timely bank deposits. Verify and analyze operational data efficiently. Assist in resolving customer account issues. Optimize delivery schedules to enhance customer service. Analyze different reports including P&L and inventory. Responsible for equipment and facility maintenance. Oversee completeness and standards of team duties. Manage expenses within budget while maintaining accurate records. Sales and Customer Service: Process sales transactions according to company policies. Provide knowledgeable responses to customer inquiries. Assist customers in selecting the right products. Ensure effective stocking of merchandise. Maintain detailed records of special orders and promotions. Support Outside Sales Representatives as necessary. Address customer feedback or complaints promptly. Conduct yourself professionally to meet customer service expectations. Inventory Management: Reconcile invoices with receiving documents. Monitor inventory levels and product lines. Manage restocks and avoid inventory obsolescence. Conduct physical inventory counts. Team Management: Train and mentor team members in their roles. Recruit and develop inside personnel as necessary. Determine staffing needs and create efficient schedules. Conduct performance reviews for staff. Safety & Security: Implement and uphold compliant safety standards. Ensure adherence to company security procedures. Additional Tasks: Prepare and mix paint orders using standard formulas. Deliver products as needed to meet customer expectations. Support inventory management duties as required. Handle waste products according to regulations. Participate in store inventory audits. Carry out other assigned tasks and projects. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift and carry items frequently. Spend approximately 20% of the time sitting and 80% in motion. Ability to perceive color differences for paint mixing. Capable of operating various equipment safely. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Complete Right-to-Know Training. Recommended courses on product training and safety regulations. Attend manufacturer seminars and training sessions as required. REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent mandatory. Proven management skills in expense and sales oversight. Familiarity with product applications in the automotive refinishing industry. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
