As a Retail Store General Manager, you will lead a dedicated team in a dynamic retail setting, overseeing all aspects of store operations, including our full-service salon. Key Responsibilities: Performance: Drive a culture of accountability to meet retail and service sales goals, enhance customer loyalty, manage payroll, and minimize loss. Create profitability through operational efficiency, along with sales growth and expense management. Mentor and guide your team while executing makeup applications and offering product demonstrations to elevate the guest experience. Stay current with industry trends to better serve our customers. People: Attract, hire, and retain a diverse, high-performing team to fulfill staffing needs. Ensure team engagement through collaboration, communication, and clear goal-setting. Lead training and development initiatives for your team to foster growth and drive performance. Process: Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s standards and procedures, adhering to policies regarding dress code and operational protocols. Utilize scheduling tools to prioritize staffing for exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency. Manage inventory and safety protocols, maintaining store standards to reduce loss. Job Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is preferred. 3-5+ years of retail management experience in a fast-paced environment. Proven financial management skills, focusing on sales performance and expense control. Strong leadership abilities to develop and inspire a talented team. Skills: Proficiency in technology (POS systems, Microsoft Office, etc.). Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt under pressure. Position Requirements: Flexible to work full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Availability to close the store at least one day per week. Travel for meetings and trainings may be necessary. Working Conditions: Use of a computer and mobile devices regularly. Frequent mobility throughout the store during shifts. The pay range for this position is between $87,360.00 and $120,640.00 annually, with additional compensation possible through our bonus plan.
