As a Retail Store Associate at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to both wholesale and retail clients. Your primary responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, answering inquiries about our products, and recommending the best solutions to meet their expectations. You will also be responsible for resolving any customer concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction. This position requires you to remain knowledgeable about our products, maintain high visual and quality standards in the store, and contribute toward achieving the store's sales goals. You will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting customers both in-person and over the phone, while building productive relationships with them. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering excellent customer service to ensure high levels of satisfaction Determining customer needs and presenting suitable products and services Accurately processing sales transactions in accordance with company policies Meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals Maintaining organized work order files and product formulas Pulling products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed Tinting and mixing products to customer specifications Stocking shelves and setting up attractive displays Cleaning store equipment and assisting with deliveries as required Keeping assigned areas in stock and presentable Staying updated on available products and options Following inventory control procedures Providing suggestions to improve sales This is a part-time role with a flexible schedule, offering up to 28 hours per week, at Store #3641, located at: 8327 Creedmoor Rd., Raleigh, NC, 27613. The starting salary for this position is $14.50 per hour. Minimum Requirements: You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. You must have legal authorization to work in the country without requiring sponsorship. You must possess strong English communication skills, both written and spoken. Bilingual skills in Spanish are required. A valid, unrestricted Driver's License is necessary. You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. You should be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: A High School diploma or GED is preferred. At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service is desirable. Experience in selling paint and related products is a plus. Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.
