Reporting to the General Manager, the Store Associate is responsible for completing duties as assigned according to production and workflow standards, as well as ensuring a positive customer experience in both the front and back of the store. Full-time positions are scheduled 30-40 hours per week, part-time positions are scheduled 16-24 hours per week. Production Ensuring quick placement of high-quality, processed goods to the sales floor Assisting to meet production numbers as set by divisional management Ensuring loss prevention and process flow guidelines are followed

Safety Performing duties according to safety expectations and procedures Ensuring the physical safety of the back room and sales floor Communicating safety issues and concerns to ensure quick resolution All other duties assigned by the General Manager

Register Operation Ability to operate a cash register and POS system Ability to count change, count down cash drawers and complete accompanying paperwork

Donation Door and Material Handling: Greeting customers and accepting donation and issuing receipts Operating a hand stacker and pallet jack

The Store Associate will be a proven leader with the following: Experience in customer service preferred Comfort with handling cash and operation of a cash register Understanding of the importance of the donor process and how it supports the mission Ability to perform job duties safely The incumbent should have at least 6 months of work history, unless this is their first job High school diploma or equivalent is not required. Operation of the hand stacker will require the ability to become certified in its operation
