This position plays a crucial role in the success of our retail operations. As a Retail Store Associate, you will engage closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend tailored solutions. You will be responsible for resolving customer concerns promptly and ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include maintaining knowledge of product features, upholding store quality and visual standards, and striving to meet and exceed sales goals. Location: The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at stores within a 5-mile radius of Store #722163, located at: 3873 Park Mill Run Dr, Hilliard, OH 43026. Compensation: This is a part-time position with a starting rate of $13.75/HR. As a Retail Store Associate, you will: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. Assist customers in person and over the phone by identifying their needs and presenting appropriate products and services. Build productive and trusting relationships with customers. Process sales transactions accurately in accordance with company policies. Achieve and follow sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Maintain accurate work order files and formulas. Pull the necessary products from the sales floor or warehouse. Tint and mix products as per customer specifications. Stock shelves and set up appealing displays. Clean store equipment and maintain a tidy store environment. Load and unload delivery trucks as needed. Assist with deliveries when required. Maintain assigned areas in an in-stock and presentable condition. Stay knowledgeable about the products offered and discuss available options with customers. Comply with inventory control procedures. Propose and suggest methods to improve sales. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for an employment work visa now or in the future. Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Must be able to retrieve items from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications: Have at least a High School diploma or GED. Have a minimum of one (1) year experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position. Have previous experience selling paint and related products. Have experience operating tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in multiple languages. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
