Responsibilities: Build relationships with walk-in customers to enhance sales opportunities Communicate with Purchasing any needs for special products Responsible for accurately estimating building products Investigate and answer complex questions and inquiries within the framework of the sales function Regularly work to develop relationships over time that will provide significant input to planning strategies Occasionally serve as a team member on special projects Collect, analyze, and report sales data and information (quotes, estimates, bids) Be innovative and provide suggestions for improvement across the company Plan how to establish and maintain major account relationships and meet personal sales targets within the full line of products or combination of products Provide training, guidance and assistance to new or less experienced staff Build sales and meet sales goals

Education/Required Skills: Follow and enforce company policies and procedures Knowledge of all aspects and uses of construction materials Assertive, competitive, and resilient Persuasive and people-orientated Precise, accurate, and attentive to detail Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook Sales experience preferred
