Responsibilities: Customer Engagement: Warmly greet and assist customers as they enter the store, fostering a welcoming and informative shopping atmosphere. Product Knowledge: Deliver accurate information about our products, addressing customer queries with confidence and expertise. Sales Promotions: Keep customers updated on current discounts, special offers, and promotional events to enhance their shopping experience. Product Familiarity: Stay informed about new products, trends, and promotions, allowing for effective customer guidance and upselling opportunities. Merchandising: Organize and restock merchandise on shelves, ensuring appealing product presentation and availability. Transaction Handling: Accurately operate the cash register, processing transactions with expertise, including cash and credit card payments. Store Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the back stock room, creating attractive merchandise displays, and ensuring a tidy and organized store environment. Inventory Management: Conduct routine inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels. Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks as directed by the Store Manager or team leads. Store Operations: Participate in store opening and closing duties, complying with operational procedures. Qualifications: Relevant Experience: Candidates with prior retail experience or a similar customer-focused role will be preferred. Inventory Management Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory stocking methods to support efficient store operations. Numerical Aptitude: Basic math skills necessary for handling transactions, pricing, and inventory. Sales Proficiency: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals. Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication abilities essential for building trust with customers and team members. Adaptability: Comfort in fast-paced environments and the ability to perform under pressure. Team Collaboration: Experience and a preference for working within a team dynamic. Professional Attributes: A dependable attitude and punctuality are crucial for this role. Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
