Bayside Electric Supply Co, Inc is seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them with their home's lighting needs and providing exceptional service. Your responsibility will include engaging with a diverse customer base, understanding their requirements, and guiding them through our wide range of products to help them make informed purchasing decisions.

As a Retail Sales Representative, you will focus on creating a welcoming and informative shopping environment. You will have the opportunity to showcase our lighting fixtures, and you will work closely with our knowledgeable team to ensure that all customers have a positive experience. You'll be involved in inventory management and merchandising while also promoting special offers and new arrivals to optimize sales.

• Greet and assist customers with their lighting design needs
• Provide detailed product information, including pricing and specifications
• Maintain product displays and ensure the store is adequately stocked
• Handle sales transactions and process returns efficiently
• Stay informed about new products and promotions to effectively engage customers
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in sales, design or marketing is a plus
