Position Overview The Retail Sales Representative is key to driving sales and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role involves a variety of operational tasks as assigned by the store management team, including maintaining store appearance and supporting visual presentation standards. Reports To: Store Management Essential Functions Customer Experience Greeting Customers: Welcome customers as soon as they enter the store with a warm smile and genuine greeting. First Impressions: Establish a positive first impression through a friendly demeanor and adherence to dress guidelines. Store Standards: Keep the store clean and organized by following established cleanliness and display standards. Product Information: Deliver knowledgeable information about products to assist customers in making informed choices. Fitting Room Service: Ensure a welcoming experience in the fitting rooms, promptly follow up with customers, maintain cleanliness at the cash wrap, and look for opportunities to increase sales. Cash Wrap Efficiency: Provide quick and efficient service at the cash register, offer Gift Cards, maintain cleanliness, and capture customer information. Customer Appreciation: Thank every customer sincerely as they leave the store. Cooperation & Dependability Task Completion: Effectively complete all duties as delegated by supervisors. Punctuality: Arrive on time and adhere to the assigned work schedule. Teamwork: Display flexibility and work collaboratively with peers and management to achieve goals. Policy Adherence: Follow GUESS Policies and Procedures without exception. Housekeeping: Carry out housekeeping responsibilities as needed. Personal Performance Sales Goals: Strive to meet or exceed the Sales per Hour (SPH) targets set by management. Miscellaneous Responsibilities: Attend all store meetings and participate in related activities. Positive Attitude: Maintain a positive outlook towards products and the company. Inventory Participation: Be actively involved in all inventory activities. Additional Duties: Take on other responsibilities as assigned by store management. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items exceeding 30 pounds and stand for at least eight hours during shifts. Job Requirements Outstanding communication and customer service skills. Preferred previous retail experience. Team-oriented mindset for effective collaboration. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
