Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers with product inquiries, orders, and purchases. Maintain in-depth knowledge of building materials and product offerings. Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail technologies. Respond promptly to customer questions and concerns, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Work collaboratively with team members to manage inventory, restock shelves, and maintain a clean, organized showroom. Stay informed on current promotions, inventory changes, and new products. Support order fulfillment for pickup and delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist with the loading and unloading of materials from trucks and customer vehicles. Organize and stock materials in designated yard locations. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the yard by removing debris and ensuring clear walkways. Use basic hand tools and equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Assist customers with locating materials and handling general inquiries. Follow all company safety protocols and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications: 1+ years of retail or customer service experience, preferably in building materials, construction supply, or hardware retail. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable using technology, including POS systems, tablets, and inventory management tools. Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset. Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
