Job Overview As a Mobile Associate (MA), you will play a vital role as part of our Retail Team of Experts who bring the T-Mobile brand to life. You will be a brand ambassador, creating excitement around our products and services. This role is designed for individuals eager to learn and develop skills that prepare them for advancement to the Mobile Expert position. Key Responsibilities: Develop proficiency in delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales, while creating a world-class customer experience. Assist customers in continuing their shopping journey whether they started online, via customer care, or in-store. Engage customers by understanding their individual needs and providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology. Support side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions that enhance customer connectivity, including unique accessories and advanced IoT devices. Approach sales and service needs with integrity, composure, and compassion. Become skilled in using digital tools to provide customers with relevant information about coverage and service plans. Complete training on T-Mobile's customer experience, new processes, and product knowledge to effectively inform and assist customers. Utilize downtime proactively to learn about the latest innovations in our industry. Collaborate with T-Mobile colleagues across all channels to ensure a seamless customer experience and resolve issues efficiently. Identify and refer small business leads effectively. Contribute to team initiatives and foster an inclusive work environment. Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED (Required) 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: A passionate advocate for customers with a desire to engage authentically and enjoy the process. A competitive spirit and a proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced sales environment. A willingness to work collaboratively with peers and leadership, sharing ideas and solutions. Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals effectively. Licenses and Certifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Compensation: Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, with additional training pay of $5.00 per hour. Within the first 90 days of employment, you will receive on-the-job training and become eligible for hourly training pay. Following training completion, Mobile Associates have the opportunity to advance to the Mobile Expert role, which includes an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year, with actual incentives varying based on performance and full-time status. All employees are guaranteed to earn $20/hour, inclusive of base pay and incentives.
