Job Overview: Mobile Associates (MA) are vital members of our Retail Team of Experts who bring the T-Mobile brand to life. As passionate brand ambassadors, they create excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a dynamic environment where technology, customer needs, and retail experiences are continuously evolving. Connecting with customers is at the core of this role, and Mobile Associates are adept at building and deepening relationships, showcasing unmatched skills in the wireless industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide world-class customer experiences while assisting customers in their shopping journey, whether online, via Customer Care, or in-store.
Explore customer needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology available.
Engage in side-by-side selling to offer personalized solutions beyond basic devices and service plans.
Approach service and sales interactions with composure, integrity, and compassion.
Become skilled in using digital tools for customer interactions to showcase the quality of our network and services.
Complete all necessary training on T-Mobile's in-store experience and product knowledge.
Utilize downtime to learn more about the latest innovations in wireless technology.
Collaborate effectively with T-Mobile employees across various channels to enhance the overall customer experience and resolve issues.
Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience:
High School Diploma/GED (Required)
6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
A passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting with others.
A competitive drive and proven ability to excel in a fast-paced sales environment.
A willingness to learn from peers and supervisors while serving customers.
Effective balance between customer needs and performance objectives.
Licenses and Certifications:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Mobile Associates will complete on-the-job training within their first 90 days and are eligible for hourly training pay. Upon completion, they can advance to the Mobile Expert role, becoming eligible for an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees at T-Mobile are assured to earn $20/hour, inclusive of base pay and incentives. Additionally, as owners, every employee is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
