Job Overview:
Mobile Associates (MA) are key players on our Retail Team of Experts, embodying the T-Mobile brand and energizing our customers around our innovative products and services. In a fast-paced environment where technology and customer needs evolve rapidly, our MAs are dedicated to creating significant connections with every customer. Their exceptional skills in building new relationships and deepening existing ones set them apart in the wireless industry. This role focuses on learning and skill development, preparing new associates for advancement to the Mobile Expert role through successful completion of initial training.
Job Responsibilities:
Build proficiency in delivering outstanding customer service and sales by:
? Assisting customers in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
? Understanding individual needs and providing engaging demonstrations of our latest technologies in-store.
? Collaboratively selling personalized solutions beyond basic devices and service plans, including accessories and cutting-edge IoT devices.
? Approaching every service and sales interaction with integrity, compassion, and poise.
Utilize digital tools effectively in customer interactions and onboarding to:
? Showcase our extensive coverage in customers' neighborhoods, emphasizing our lightning-fast LTE network.
? Explain how T-Mobile's plans and services empower customers to live unlimited, feel the love, stay connected, and explore further.
? Complete comprehensive training on T-Mobile’s in-store experience, skills, processes, systems, and resources.
? Proactively learn about innovations in wireless and technology to enhance customer interactions.
Establish strong working relationships by collaborating with T-Mobile employees across various departments to:
? Enhance the customer experience and resolve issues seamlessly.
? Identify and transfer small business leads effectively.
? Support team initiatives while fostering an inclusive work environment.
Education:
High School Diploma/GED (Required)
Work Experience:
6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Passionate advocate for customer needs who enjoys connecting with others (Required)
Competitive spirit with the ability to thrive in a dynamic sales environment (Required)
Willingness to collaborate with team members and leaders, sharing ideas while delivering exceptional service (Required)
Skillful in balancing customer needs with performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications:
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Travel:
No travel is required.
We offer:
An hourly base pay of $19.00, in addition to $5.00 per hour for training. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates will receive on-the-job training and training pay. Upon completion, associates will progress to the Mobile Expert role and qualify for an annual incentive target of $18,000, with actual earnings varying by performance and full-time status. T-Mobile guarantees all employees to earn at least $20/hour, inclusive of base pay and incentives. Since we all share in ownership, every T-Mobile employee is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
