The Role:
We’re seeking a Sales & Customer Service Manager to lead and develop the retail showroom team. This individual will be responsible for coaching, motivating, and driving accountability across a group of sales and service professionals, ensuring customers receive an exceptional experience while also driving sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and develop a team of 4 sales representatives, 1 support staff, 2 membership reps, and 1 customer service manager.
Provide day-to-day coaching, training, and performance management to ensure sales and service goals are met.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
Drive sales initiatives within the retail showroom, including product recommendations and membership sales/upsells.
Oversee customer engagement and ensure a seamless experience for both members and new visitors.
Collaborate cross-functionally, with potential oversight of the marketing function.
Contribute creative ideas to enhance sales, marketing, and customer experience initiatives.
Be flexible with occasional nights and weekends, supporting the team when needed.
The Candidate:
Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a retail setting
Strong coaching and motivational skills – able to inspire and hold a team accountable.
Background in inside sales or retail sales required; experience with membership-based models is a plus.
Creative, proactive, and solutions-oriented thinker.
Exposure to marketing (particularly in retail environments such as consumer goods, beverage, or related industries) is a strong advantage.
Compensation: $100k base + bonus
