We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. Your responsibilities will include managing transactions, maintaining store appearance, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. Duties Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with product inquiries. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Perform merchandising tasks, ensuring products are displayed attractively and stocked appropriately. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and promote sales. Assist in inventory management through stocking shelves and maintaining product availability. Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and backroom areas. Utilize effective communication skills to address customer concerns and inquiries professionally. No cap on commissions Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience. Basic proficiency in cash handling procedures and cashiering duties. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience with product demos is a plus, as well as any supervisory experience. A keen eye for merchandising and an understanding of effective display techniques. The ability to lift and move heavy furniture as needed around the store. Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries via phone when necessary.
