Key Responsibilities: Engage Customers: Welcome customers into the store and provide professional guidance, ensuring a friendly shopping atmosphere. Product Expertise: Offer detailed information about products, answering any customer questions with confidence and enthusiasm. Promote Sales: Keep customers updated on discounts, special offers, and promotions to enhance their shopping experience. Stay Informed: Maintain knowledge of new and trending products, allowing you to effectively guide and upsell to customers. Visual Merchandising: Organize and restock merchandise on the sales floor to ensure precise product presentation. Cash Handling: Operate the cash register skillfully, processing transactions accurately, including cash and credit payments. Store Maintenance: Assist with keeping the sales floor tidy and appealing, while also supporting back stock room organization. Inventory Management: Conduct routine inventory checks to ensure our stock is maintained and accounted for. Administrative Tasks: Support the Store Manager and team with various administrative duties as needed. Store Operations: Participate in opening and closing duties, following operational protocols. Qualifications: Previous experience in retail or a customer-focused role. Understanding of inventory management processes. Basic math skills for transactions and inventory adjustments. Proven ability to meet sales targets. Excellent communication skills to build relationships with customers and team members. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Team player with a collaborative spirit. Dependable and punctual with a positive attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A genuine appreciation for Daiso's unique products and brand. Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods during shifts.
