General Summary: The Retail Sales Associate will play a vital role in our store by ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. You will assist with stocking, pricing merchandise, and maintaining a clean, organized presentation throughout the store. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service to represent Bolster Hardware positively. Proactive Support: Assist customers in finding solutions to their needs. Welcoming Atmosphere: Greet customers warmly and thank them upon leaving the store. Strong Communication: Respond to pages and calls quickly and courteously. Product Knowledge: Possess comprehensive knowledge of our store layout and products. Customized Assistance: Provide personalized service to amaze our customers at every interaction. Store Operations: Help create a safe, positive, and professional work environment by carrying out various tasks: Assist with stocking and managing merchandise levels. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness across sales areas, stockrooms, and outdoor spaces. Support pricing changes and special orders effectively. Ensure that all store signage is up to date and relevant. Communicate merchandise and sales ideas to management. Education/Training: A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred, along with familiarity with technology such as computers, tablets, and smartphones. Physical Demands: The role includes standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and climbing.
